Helen champions family’s voices in coproducing health care both at an individual level and strategically in planning services. This was inspired by her unique dual background as a Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability, with almost 30 years’ experience in the field, and as mum to Matthew, who was born in 2000 with life-limiting disabilities. | |||
She was a keynote speaker at the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) annual conference in Seoul and has worked with the WHO in Geneva on the Patient experiences of harm: lessons for the health care system project. | |||
Helen chaired the Advisory group for the NHS England Personal Health Budget Quality Framework and worked in Personalised Care since 2018, as part of the national Strategic Coproduction group, speaking at national events. | |||
